Professional Journey: Angelia Neumann

When I was 11 my mother was hit by a car while standing near the side of the road.

Both of her legs were severely broken, enough that the surgeons considered amputation. They managed to save her legs but warned she may never walk again. Her physical therapist set out to prove them wrong and succeeded. One day the therapist taught me how to manipulate the patella. I was hooked. I wanted to be a physical therapist.
